Who we are

Life Playbook is a life-skills learning app based in Canada. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

What we collect

Account details: first name, email address and account type (student or parent).

Learning activity: lessons, plays and challenges completed, XP, levels, badges and streaks.

Optional private notes students write in “Make it your way”.

Billing for parent plans is handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

We do not ask for race, ethnicity, religion, nationality or other sensitive personal details.

How we use it

To run your account, save your progress and show it back to you.

To let a connected parent see progress the student has agreed to share.

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Parents and students

A parent can only see a student's progress after the student approves the connection request.

Parents never see a student's private reflections.

Users under the age of majority in their province should have a parent or guardian's permission before creating an account. A parent can ask us to review or delete their child's information at any time.

Keeping it safe

Data is stored with encrypted connections, and access rules make sure each person sees only their own information.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your progress and notes.
